John E. Coleman Jr., a beloved and devoted resident of Staten Island, New York, passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on February 27, 1944, John was a compassionate, hard-working, kind-hearted, selfless, and thoughtful individual who touched the lives of many.
John was a Director at Camelot Counseling Center, where he helped many families through his line of work. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. A wonderful family man, John was married to Jane for 48 years. He is survived by his children: Janene Coleman Lombardo, Anthony Lenza and his wife Lisa Marchese-Lenza, and John Coleman. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Jace Lombardo, Anthony Lenza, Jr., Nicholas Lenza, and Jake Marchese. He is also survived by his brother, James Coleman, sister, Peggy Coleman, and his beloved dog, Joey.
In his personal life, John had a passion for old cars and enjoyed watching and coaching his grandson's hockey team. He loved working on cars and took great joy in building and fixing things. Anyone who met John loved him, as he gave himself to all. He will surely be missed.
