Uncle Joey words could never truly express the sorrow and emptiness in my heart everyday without you you were a wonderful uncle and such a special loving human being I have nothing but fond memories from  childhood on which I will cherish always. you asked for little but deserved so much I wish I could have done even more for you but i hope you know how much you were and are loved and how deeply you are missed You are truly an angel and I know you are at peace with Grandpa & Grandma your brothers Jr & Louis and my mom Carol I miss you all so much and my heart will remain broken Until We Meet Again

Joe, my old friend from the South Beach projects, you were the star of all those crazy movies I made in the 1980's like Rongo's Revenge, Plan 10 From Outer Space, Unstable and Shell Shock. Every time I saw you on the streets, you'd ask me when were we gonna make another movie. When I asked you to wear a rubber pig nose or a rubber elephant mask, you never hesitated or refused because you knew it would make the videos all the funnier. You couldn't act but that's what made those little movies comical. You were a comical genius but didn't know it. We didn't have scripts, we didn't have professional video equipment and we made those movies on no budgets but we had lots of fun and most people applauded your appearances in my films because all you really wanted to do was make us all laugh and feel good.  I wish I could find those videos so I put them on You Tube but no one seems to have them anymore. I'll see you one day in Heaven, my friend.

  Lost a good hearted friend big shock to us all specialy justin whom was 3 when we moved here justin was part of the family,anthony,millie,Spiga ,and joesph it was the worst day i heard joesph passed away i was heart boroken he was the kind of guy he eithier liked you or he hated you told u rt out thats wt i loved about him he had a heart of gold justin found out he said wow i treded from a yankee to a met Joesph and i are two met buddies brought tears to my eyes .. joesph u are where you belong with ada,mom,two brothers,one happy family again,ur spirit will always live on and i know u will always be around justin till we meet again R.I.P.  i was not told u had passed away till yesterday or i would of been there,i really thought phil would of stopped by .. ..

Joey, with a heavy heart I must say goodbye to you, but with a Faithful heart I take comfort in knowing that you are reunited with your family in heaven. In the short time I knew you, I grew to love you very much and I will miss you. You will always have a special place in my heart.

To my beloved uncle and friend, thank you for being a great uncle. You had a heart of pure gold and a joyful spirit that will live with me forever.  I am eternally appreciative of all our great memories.  Until we see each other again, I will keep rooting for the Mets as I know you will be in heaven.  I love and miss you dearly.
