Karen E. Moore

Karen was a housewife who loved cooking and baking goodies for her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Bill to foreign countries but her favorite trips were to our National Parks to photograph wildlife.

Karen was a true animal lover who over the years rescued many animals and was successful in finding them homes.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years William H. Moore, her stepson David A. Moore, her brothers Gary De Gweck (Josephine) and Rev. Stephen De Gweck (Dawn), nieces Christine De Gweck Getherd (Joseph) and Jennifer De Gweck Mayhew, nephews Christopher De Gweck (Marilyn) and Benjamin De Gweck, cousins Carolyn Birstler and Norman Neiderhiser (David) and great nieces and nephews Adelaide & Elizabeth De Gweck, Hayden & Colton Mayhew and Christian & Rose Getherd. Wake will be held at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave. on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Family & Friends will congregate at Casey Funeral Home on Tuesday at 10:00am to say Goodbye.
