Kathleen J. Cerasoli

Kathleen J. Cerasoli of Castleton Corners passed away on Friday, January 14 at the age of 92. Kathleen was born September 1, 1929, in Bridgeport, Connecticut to parents Ruth Frailey and John P. Melvin. She moved to Staten Island at the age of three and graduated from Curtis High School in 1947. Kathleen retired from work at JP Morgan and became chairperson of hospitality at the Castleton Corners Chapter AARP. She enjoyed traveling to Europe with her husband, Anthony, and treasured her time visiting family in Arizona during winter months and at family gatherings here at home. Kathleen's hobbies were reading, working jigsaw puzzles and games on her tablet. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Anthony of 49 years, sons David (Sherri) Sanger, William (Patricia) Sanger, daughter Ruth (Job) Keenan, stepsons Keith (Lisa) Cerasoli and Karl Cerasoli. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren along with many dear and loving family members. "Momma was the soul of our family and will always be remembered as our loving legend". A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 4 at 2 PM at the Casey Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future time.
