Loving, caring, and generous
Lillian B. Castaldo, 92, born in Staten Island, N.Y., on Feb. 10, 1926, passed on Jan. 28, 2019. Her husband of 42 years, Louis R. Castaldo, predeceased her.
She was the devoted mother to Paul, Janet VanPelt, and Thomas; loving Grandma to seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and sister to Frank Sharpe, the late Gerald and Carol Sharpe.
Lillian was a charter member of Holy Family parish. She loved being a secretary at Swedish American Lines, New York City, before starting a family. Later, she worked as a school aide at McKee H.S. Loving, caring, and generous, she will always be loved and missed by all.
Viewing is Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Harmon Funeral Home. Funeral service is Friday at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Parish Church, 366 Watchogue Rd., S.I.
