Lucille Goolic (DeLuca), 87 years of life found her “Rest in Peace” on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. Lucille leaves a legacy of selfless love, compassion, and fortitude. Her children Steven DeLuca, Lee Monk, the late Diane Kleiman, and Len DeLuca share a heavy heart of loss. Lucille had 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Lucille loved and was loved.
Lucille was a lifelong resident of Staten Island. She grew up among extended family on John Street in Port Richmond. Her memories of her summers spent in Camp Warren/Warren Manor with her grandparents and cousins sustained her in her twilight years. Lucille had a love of travel. She visited many countries and any opportunity to take a cruise, Lucille was packed and ready to go.
Our thanks and heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Seaview Hospital Rehab Center and Home who took care of our mom, Lucille. They became her family and were with her to the end.
Harmon Funeral Home will have an intimate service of reflection, prayer and farewell on Friday, 9a-10:45. A private interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement. thewomensalzheimersmovement.org
