A native of Sotaquira Boyacá, Colombia, Mr. Pacheco had been a railroad worker in his homeland.
He immigrated to the United States in 1979, moving to St. George, and settled in Willowbrook in 1996.
Mr. Pacheco most loved being with his family of four generations, and attributed his longevity to their love and care, as well as his good health.
He also was always in good spirits, family said.
Mr. Pacheco was fond of nature and taking walks in the park. He also enjoyed traveling.
His wife of more than 75 years, Eloisa, died in 2008.
Surviving are his sons, Carlos, Luis, Gustavo and Humberto; his daughters, Leonor Cordero and Blanca and Carmen Pacheco; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 8 p.m. in the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners. Burial will take place Saturday in Ocean View Cemetery, Oakwood.
