Marie "Mickey" Jost

Mickey Jost, 79 Mickey Jost, born June 3, 1937, in Staten Island, N.Y., passed away on Sept. 8, 2016, after a brief illness, at Richmond University Medical Center. Viewing will be held at Harmon Funeral Home on Sunday, Sept. 11, from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Rita's Church. Predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Carl Jost Sr., and her sister, Joan Kauffman, Mickey is survived by sons, Carl Jr., Kenneth, Vincent, Jeffrey; grandchildren, Carl III, Kenneth, Kelly, Brianna, Vincent, Amanda, Stephanie; great-grandchild, Conor; and sisters, Carol Shields, Ann Baglio, Jane Sherman and Michelle Phillips. Mickey was a member of St Roch's senior citizen group. She worked right up until her illness as the office manager for Karl Knoeckline Surveyors. She was a graduate of St. Peter's Girls High School. Her passions were her grandchildren; her Goddaughter, Patricia Martuccio, and Friday Night bingo with her friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the NY Firefighters Burn Center or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation are appreciated.
