

Mr. Fazio was born and raised in Brooklyn. After his marriage to the former Lois Fontana in 1962, the couple lived in South Beach. They moved to Rosebank in 1968, and later relocated to Jim Thorpe, Pa.
In 2000, Mr. Fazio returned to the Island to live in Graniteville. He moved to Arden Heights in 2005, to live with his son, Louis.
Mr. Fazio worked for 30 years in the photo-finishing industry. After retiring from Kodak in Elizabeth, N.J., he began working at Sam's Club in Edison, N.J. He retired in 2010, after 15 years with the company.
Mr. Fazio was a member of the Christian Pentacostal Church, Concord.
A dedicated family man, Mr. Fazio volunteered as a Boy Scout leader and served as a coach for the East Shore Little League, Fort Wadsworth.
An avid New York Mets fan, he also rooted for the football Giants.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Lois, who died in 2000.
In addition to his son, Louis, he is survived by his son, Peter; six grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Christian Pentacostal Church. Burial will be in Ocean View Cemetery, Oakwood. Arrangements are being handled by the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners.
