

She was born Rachel Andruzzi in Bulls Head. After her marriage to Carmine Bolitere, the couple lived in New Brighton and later West Brighton. Before entering the nursing home three months ago, Mrs. Bolitere lived with her daughter Lily Alias in New Dorp.
A homemaker, Mrs. Bolitiere possessed a kind heart and great sense of humor, her family said. She was a loving mother dedicated to her children and granddaughter, they added.
She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Carmine, who died in 2003, and by her daughter, Florence Cioffi, who died in 2008.
In addition to her daughter Lily, she is survived by her son Manuel; her daughter, Phylis DeAngelis; her brother Peter Andruzzi; her sister, Margaret Anagnostis and one granddaughter.
The funeral will be Monday from the Casey Funeral Home, with a mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Teresa's R.C. Church, both in Castleton Corners. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Brighton.
