Richard A. D'Ambrosio (74) passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025 surrounded by his family. Richard was born in Staten Island, New York, on September 22, 1950. He was the son of the late Frank D'Ambrosio and Jennie Befumo D'Ambrosio. He was the father to Jeanette D'Ambrosio Coppola, Debbie D'Ambrosio Pellegrino, and Richard D'Ambrosio. Grandfather to four grandchildren Bianca Battipaglia, Vincent Coppola, Faith Coppola, and Paul Battipaglia Jr. Richard D'Ambrosio was a great grandfather to Oliver Battipaglia. He also leaves behind two brothers that he dearly loved, Joseph D'Ambrosio and John D'Ambrosio. As well as two ex spouses Karen Lyon and Arlene D'Ambrosio.
Richard loved to fish, hunt, and most of all tell his famous stories. He could talk your ear off for hours. He loved when all his children were together. He leaves behind many loved ones who will remember him for his wisdom, outrageous sense of humor, and generous heart. We are all grateful to remember all the good times and storytelling.
Rest in eternal peace with Mom, Dad, and best friend Joseph Laziak. Until we meet again. You will be surely missed.
