

Robin Savino passed on April 18, 2026 at the age of 63. She was born on April 29th, 1962 in Queens, NY. She was the first born of Alexander Savino and Diane Savino, nee D'arcy. She grew up in Astoria and Jackson Heights. She attended Most Precious Blood R.C. school and Dominican Commercial High School followed by attending Queensboro Community College where she received an Associate Degree in Business Science.
She worked for many firms as a secretary including Wrangler Mens Wear in the Empire State Building, Holmes Protection and finally moving into the area of law as a legal secretary at Shearman & Sterling Law Firm,one of the largest firms in the world. She started in the secretarial pool and quickly rose to the level of secretary to a partner in the firm. Her skills were legendary and she was recognized by the firm for her excellence.
In 1999, she met the love of her life, Edward Tunstall, a retired NYFD Firefighter, they built a life together and in 2004, they moved from Bayside, Queens to Staten Island. They bought a home in Rosebank and spent their time traveling on cruises and visiting with friends and family. Eddie passed away in 2017 and Robin is now with him again.
Robin is survived by her sister, Diane J. Savino, her brother John Savino and sister-in-law, Jacqueline Ramos Savino as well as niece and nephew, Angelina and John D'Arcy. In addition, her Aunt Eleanor Patricia Trionfo, cousins Patricia and Jill, Ken, Chris and Matt Zisel, Mark and David Murray., Joanne Hering, Frank Savino,and so many friends.
She loved hard and lived that way. She will be missed by many and will never be forgotten.
