Anyone who met Sara was immediately captivated by her warmth, her honesty, and most importantly her smile. It could instantly make the most troubled person instantly feel hope. That was her gift. Sara was someone you wanted to be near, just to experience that happy glow. Like everyone, Sara had bad days and tough experiences, but she never wallowed in her sorrow. Her positivity broke through any tough situation without ever holding on to whatever negativity she was dealing with.
Sara loved her family and they always came first. Her husband, Vincent Marino, passed in 2014. They were not only in love, but they were also best friends. Sara's son, Vincent Gasper Marino was her light. She was always very proud of him and supported anything he wanted to do.
Whether she lived in Brooklyn or on Staten Island, everyone knew Sara. She never had a bad word for anyone and was happy to help anyone who needed it without hesitation.
Sara will be missed. Wherever she is now, she is spreading her love, and her smile.
