Theresa Jordan

Great Kills resident Theresa Jordan (Flenda),81, passed away peacefully at home on Friday August 20, 2021, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Theresa, a phenomenal cook, was known for her vivacious spirit and devotion to family.

Theresa was the cherished wife of Edmund Jordan. She was the loving mother of John Jordan(Kathleen) and Ed Jordan. Theresa was the devoted grandmother of Emily, Jesse, Amanda, Paige, and Patrick. She is survived by her sister, Josephine Correale and brother in law Carl Gulino as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her parents Concetta and John Flenda, her sister, Margaret Gulino and her nephew, Michael DeVincenzo.

Theresa grew up Cobble Hill Brooklyn and attended Prospect Heights H.S. She came to Staten Island in 1969 with her family and settled in Great Kills.

Theresa was known for her love of cooking and sharing her amazing creations with family and friends. Her eggplant parmigiana and chicken pot pies will surely be missed. Theresa was full of life and spunk and was always ready to offer sage advice and guidance to her family. She will be sorely missed by all those whose lives she touched.

A visitation for Theresa will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A memorial mass will occur Friday, August 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Clare's Church, 110 Nelson Ave, Staten Island, New York 10308. An inurnment will occur Friday, August 27, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Road, Staten Island, NY 10306.
