Aaron Eugene Hickman

Mr. Aaron Eugene Hickman, age 58, went home to be with the Lord on Friday evening. He was a lifelong resident of Bulloch County. Aaron was an avid outdoorsman. His passions were hunting, fishing, and music. He was a family man and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Mr. Hickman was a homebuilder throughout the Low Country and was a member of Leefield Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Hickman of Brooklet, GA, one daughter, Amanda Hickman Arnsdorff of Statesboro, , two sons, William Hickman of Brooklet, and Toby C. Hickman both of Brooklet, , one brother, James Lamar Hickman, Jr. of Savannah, his mother, Stella Joyner of Savannah, GA, and a step-mother, Hallie Hickman of Buckhead, GA. He had three step children, Michael Green of Kissimmee, FL, Tracy Blitch Bunch of Monroe, GA, and Casey Wayne Blitch of Beaufort, SC. He has five step-siblings, nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, James Lamar Hickman, Sr. of Buckhead, GA, and a step-father, Harry Joyner, of Savannah, GA.

A celebration of life is being held Monday, September 1st, 2014 at Hodges Moore Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am with Elder Randy Waters officiating. Visitation to follow.
