

Chelsea was born in Philadelphia, PA and had lived in Brooklet for many years. She graduated with honors from Statesboro High School in May 2012. Chelsea was a former Girl Scout, selling the most Girl Scout cookies in the Pine Mountain District in 2001. She attended Brooklet First Baptist Church and Northside Baptist Church in Pembroke and was a regular attendee of Camp Aunt Fay. She enjoyed music, reading, funny noises, going places, taking long rides down bumpy dirt roads and especially enjoyed going to church and chocolate.
Chelsea is survived by her parents, Barry and Mary Waters of Brooklet; grandmother, Juanita Hibbard of Savannah; aunts and uncle, Fay and Ralph Switzer of Rincon and Cathy Grayson of Savannah; uncles, Greg Waters and Jeff Waters both of Savannah; many cousins, extended family and friends and her cat, Wini.
A celebration of Chelsea’s life will be held 10:00 AM Monday, January 27, in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with the Reverend Robert Crosby officiating. The family request that you wear colorful dress and bring happy stories.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that you make five people smile each day; enjoy a good piece of chocolate every day and laugh at something really silly daily.
