

Mr. Hodges was born in Statesboro and lived in Bluffton, SC for many years before moving back to Statesboro. Johnny was a 1961 graduate of Statesboro High School and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Johnny was a member of the Carolina Cruisers Classic Car Club and had worked as an Elvis impersonator.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Lamar and Ulmer Hodges, two wives, Ann Hodges and Becky Hodges and his brother, Jimmy Hodges.
Johnny is survived by his wife, of 13 years, Nancy Ann Dipolito Hodges of Statesboro; sons, Lance Hodges and his wife, Donna of Statesboro; Greg Hodges of Register; Shawn Hodges and his wife, Jennifer of Brooklet and Ashley Hodges and his wife, Delaine of Hoover, AL; sister, Ann Stewart and her husband, Donald of Russellville, TN; seven grandchildren, Brandi Harvey, Brad Hodges, Dustin Hodges, Jessie Hodges, Cassie Hodges, Jackson Hodges and Abbie Hodges; two great-grandchildren, Sawyer and Zoe Harvey; several nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, May 16, 2016 in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Reverend Harry Sherrer officiating.
Burial will follow in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
