Kenneth Alan "Kenny" Anderson

Kenny was born in Savannah and attended Chatham County Public Schools. He lived in Pembroke for many years before moving to Brooklet in 1994 and lived there until moving to Statesboro in 2014. He was a master carpenter building many residential homes in the area over the past 40 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and especially enjoyed working in his yard.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Betty Jean Anderson, brother, Mike Anderson, sister, Marie Rice and granddaughter, Tori Hollingsworth.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Jo Marianne Anderson, Statesboro; daughter, Tracy Anderson-Dorsey and her husband, Mitchell of Bloomingdale; sons, Kenny Anderson and his wife, Heather of Savannah and Mitchell Anderson and his wife, Ashley of Statesboro; step-sons, Ricky Martin of Jesup; Jeffery Myatt and his wife, Lesley of Register and Billy Martin of Statesboro; step-daughter, Jennifer Myatt of Statesboro; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Brother Wes Sherrod officiating.
