Nellie Jean Haralson

Mrs. Haralson was a native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County and worked as a waitress at many local restaurants in Statesboro, including RJ’s Steakery and Shoney’s. She was a member of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Eunice Barrs Lee and her brother, Gary Lee.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Haralson of Statesboro; daughter, Melanie Haralson of Statesboro; brother, Daniel Lee and his wife, Joy of Brooklet; sisters, Helen Stalcup and her husband, John Ray of Stilson and Bettie Lee of Waycross; grandson, Thomas Staggs of Statesboro; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held privately at a later date.
