

She was born in Beirut, Lebanon, on August 15, 1926, and was a daughter of the late Krikor Ketchedjian and Selver Dishchikenian. On December 1, 1950, she married Dr. Hanna C. Kutteh who survives. She was a Registered Nurse and a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church. She graduated from American University of Beirut's Nursing School. She and her husband, Dr. Hanna C. Kutteh, moved to North Carolina shortly after they were married. She was a resident of Statesville for more than six decades. Mrs. Kutteh was very active in community and church activities, giving feeely of her time. With her husband, she was most generous in the philanthropic support of many causes and orgainzations in Statesville and beyond. She was fluent in five languages and travelled extensively during her life. Most of all, she was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother to a large family spread far and wide but also with a lasting presence in Statesville. Her wide circle of friends and extended family members was always a great source of joy to her.
Surviving in addition to her husband are sons, Constantine H. (Costi) Kutteh, II, and his wife, Teresa, of Statesville, William H. Kutteh and his wife, Carol, of Memphis, Tennessee and Robert H. Kutteh and his wife, Carol, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; a daughter, Elaine K. Goslin and her husband, Ian, of Peoria, Illinois; and nine grandchildren, Hanna Kutteh, Martha Kutteh, Maggie Kutteh, Elizabeth Goslin, Catherine Goslin, Will Kutteh, Michael Kutteh, John Kutteh and Nicole Alyssa Kutteh.
Services celebrating Mrs. Kutteh's life will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Broad Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Michael Gehring and the Rev. Jennifer Bingham officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Private burial will be held at Oakwood Cemetery.
