

She was born April 23, 1923, in Olin, NC, and was the daughter of the late William David and Julia Ruth Reavis Hutchens. She was a member of South River Baptist Church and a devoted homemaker and mother.
On January 23, 1941, she married Jurney Clay Campbell who preceded her in death on September 3, 2006. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Esther Hutchens; and four brothers, William, Thomas, Daniel and James Hutchens.
She is survived by a daughter, Jean Isenhour (Johnny); three sons, Jerry Campbell (Donna), Tommy Campbell (Alice) and Mark Campbell (Cheryl), all of Statesville; six sisters, Betty Haynes, Estelle Speece, Lorena Elliott (Jerry), Christine Sloan (Howard), Josephine Hager (Bryant), and Jacqueline Boland; two brothers, Richard Hutchens (Mary) and Robert Hutchens (Linda); 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services celebrating Annie Belle’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at South River Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Whicker officiating. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral hour and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service and at other times will be assembled at her daughter’s home on Chipley Ford Road.
