

Born December 25, 1929 in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late Wade Wilhelm and Mary Granger Wilhelm.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Marcie Lee Wilhelm and her husband, Jerry Almon Henderson, who passed away on December 24, 1971.
Mrs. Henderson retired from Jantzen’s after 38 years of service. She was a very active member of Cochran Street Baptist Church for over 60 years, where she taught Children’s Sunday school classes and later a Ladies Sunday school class.
She was a very caring and thankful lady, who always had a humble and gentle spirit.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Jerry Price of Statesville; grandchildren, Daniel (Angela) Price and Ben (Andrea) Price; great-grandchildren, Harley, Willow, Jonathan, Nathan and Noah; great-great grandchildren, Paisley, Gracelyn and Carson and one sister, Martha W. Duncan.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home, with the funeral service following at 2:00 PM in the Westmoreland Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Roscoe Lilly officiating.
Mrs. Henderson will be laid to rest at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dan Price, Ben Price, Harley Price, Melvin Fox, Jonathon Sells and Matthew Sells.
The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to Dr. James Foushee, Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, The staff of The Gardens and Heritage Place for their loving care and support.
