Mrs. Christine Staley Becker, 76, of 571 Margaret Dr., Statesville, died Wednesday November 17th at the Preston House in Charlotte. Born in Iredell County on April 3, 1934, she was a daughter of the late James Odell Staley and Mary Nesbit Staley. She was a retired commercial realtor's administrative assistant and was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Thomas N. Becker.
Survivors include a daughter, Tracy Becker and her husband, Oscar Bonfil, of Statesville and a sister, Mrs. Joyce Grello of Virginia.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 Saturday at St. Philip The Apostle Catholic Church with Father Joe Mulligan officiating. The family will speak with friends following the service.
