I will truly miss DJ's spunky style. We always had good times together and will miss the Thanksgiving meals we so often shared together.
She loved her dogs and all animals. I learned to love Beagles when she started raising them. Puppies are the best, of course!
She always seemed to find a new fun way of earning money, singing birthday cards and such. One year she sang Happy Birthday to me with a gift of flowers from my daughter. Such a sweet surprise.
I will miss her good snacks and new dishes she always wanted to try whenever we got together for dinner.
She was a dear and sweet young friend to me and my husband.
You will be sorely missed, DJ.
Love and hugs and special prayers to you, Jim. Be safe, be well, find peace in wonderful memories, and also come and visit us whenever you can or want.

DJ was all about style, patriotism, sharing the gospel with the public, and serving in her church and community -- all wonderful traits. She was my visiting teacher and wife of my home teacher for many years. I appreciated their consistent concern and attention to me. It was my pleasure to help her in the past year. I learned patience and consideration from the experience. We will miss her.
