Born on July 1, 1939 in Iredell County, he was the son to the late Everett Lee and Rachel Catherine Bost Lamberth. Donald served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years with one year in Turkey and three years in Germany. He worked for Statesville Police Department for two years and Statesville Fire Department for eight years. He later worked for Bernhardt Furniture from which he retired. Donald was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jane Webber Lamberth; daughter, Tami Jean Lamberth; son, Donald Eugene Lamberth, Jr; brothers, Carl E. Lamberth and George Wesley Lamberth.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Kimberly Lamberth, Selena Dancy and Michelle (William) Teears; grandchildren: Elizabeth Mountain, Jessica Wilson, Bethany Romanoff, Kathryn Martin, Rachel Crooks, Quentin Crooks, Haley Dancy, Jacob Dancy, Gage Teears and Kieran Teears; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, James Gary (Shelia) Lamberth and many other loving family members.
The family will gather and receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
A 10am graveside service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Salisbury National Cemetery.
