Eugene Odell Denny

Eugene Odell Denny, 69, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Wilkes Regional Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born on July 25, 1955, to Delbert and Lillie Mae Denny.

Surviving are his loving wife, Janet Dillard Denny; two sons, Reggie Mark Kyle and wife Melissa, and Randy Kyle and wife Shana; one daughter, Lisa Bumgarner and husband Jason; six grandchildren who he adored, Raven Kyle, Rhett Kyle and wife Victoria, Seth Kyle, Reid Kyle, Jared Bumgarner and Breigh Bumgarner; two brothers, Benny Denny and wife Brenda, and Jeff Denny and wife Betty; brother-in-law, Cliff Denny; sister-in-law, Patty Denny; as well as many very special nieces and nephews.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donnie Denny; and two sisters, Linda Denny and Betty Denny Brown.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 353 Luray Rd, North Wilkesboro, with Pastor Kent Wood and Pastor Kevin Souther officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
