Fannie Elizabeth Mitchell Henderson

Born in Iredell County on June 1, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Zeddie C. Mitchell and Myrtle Cash Mitchell. She was a retired textile worker, a homemaker and a member of Calvary Community Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Henderson, sisters, Peggy, Patsy and Irene and brothers , Sam, Dock and Joffrey.

On March 1, 1946, she married Marvin Henderson who survives. Also surviving are daughters, Mrs. Shelby Hager and her husband, Jim, and Patricia Lubel and her husband, Robert both of Statesville, and a son, David Henderson and his wife, Karen of Easley, SC; a daughter-in-law, Judy Fox Henderson of Stony Point. Additional survivors include grandchildren: Robin Rogowski(Mark), Traci Moody (Scott), Amy Dalton (Benny), Kelli Cash (Bill Stanley), Nate Henderson and James Marvin Hager and great grandchildren: Kaylee Cash, Alice Moody, Grace Moody, Alexis Dalton and Zoe Dalton.

Services celebrating Fannie's life will be conducted at 2:00 Saturday at Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with Dr. Donald L. Horton and Rev. J. C. Parks officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will assemble at the residence of the deceased and will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
