Mrs. Anderson was born January 31, 1923 to the late George Garland and Elizabeth Cline Caldwell.
On March 7, 1943 she married Branson Bine Anderson. Together they shared over 70 years of marriage before his passing on March 4, 2015. She was the oldest living member of Monticello Baptist Church at the time of her passing. She loved to crochet in her free time. Most of all she will be remembered for being a generous, caring, and loving mother.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters, one son-in-law, Larry “Snake” Miller. She worked in retail and garment manufacturing until her retirement.
She is survived by five daughters, Doris Triplett (James), Peggy Anderson, Marie “Bossie” Miller, Barbara “Cricket” Barnette (Eddie), Patsy Burnette (Raymond); one son, Harold “Hammer” Anderson (April); twelve grandchildren, David Triplett (Missy), Susan Benfield (Jeff), Chris Miller, Eddie Barnette III (Heather), Amy Cosey (David), Shane Barnette (Erica), Tori Bass (Derrick), Brandon Anderson, Chase Anderson, Travis Burnette, Avery Salmon and Zachary Salmon; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; fur baby, Sugar as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home Chapel on Friday January 25, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Chris Thompson officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery.
