Jerry Eugene Bost

He was born September 1, 1940, in Iredell County and was the son of the late Loyd Bost and Geneva Nantz Bost McGee. He attended Harmony Baptist Church in Conover. He was always a jokester with a great sense of humor and was formerly a member of the Statesville Clown Club.

He is survived by his daughter, Ginger Bost, of Catawba; a granddaughter, Sabrina Leigh Carden of Claremont; a sister, Barbara (Wayne) Helton of Statesville; a step-mother, Sarah Bost of Statesville; three step-children; five step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services celebrating Jerry’s life will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, June 27, 2014, in the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Arthur Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
