Linda Sue Hudnall Moose

Linda Sue Moose "Susie", 59, of Stony Point, passed away peacefully at home on April 19, 2014, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 7, 1955 in Kanawha County, W. Va. She was a daughter of the late Roy M. Hudnall and Lena E. Hudnall who survives and is of Statesville.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by sisters, Donna J. Taylor and Jeannie Woolard.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Billy R. Moose, a son, John Holbrook (Lisa Overcash), a daughter, Missy Holbrook Pitts (Mike Pitts) and a step son, Jeff Moose (Lynn Moose).

Also surviving are grandchildren: Whitney Little, Krista Norman, Jacob Holbrook, Addison and Rayna Pitts, two brothers, Roy T. Hudnall (Sue) of Statesville and Larry Hudnall (Robin) of Cedar Grove, W. Va. along with five sisters: Carol Mumford (Herbie), Faye Sparkman, Leona Rix (Chuck), Diana King, Alma Buckley (Doug) from Elkhart, Indiana and a number of nieces and nephews

She was a strong woman who traded her cancer for "Angel Wings". She will be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, sister, mother and grandmother and someone that was so full of life, to all of her friends and family.

A time to celebrate her life will be held for family and friends at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home on Tuesday April 22nd from 2:00 to 4:00 with services immediately following at Iredell Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tony Fox officiating.
