

Born in Morganton, NC on December 10, 1966, he was the son of Taylor Haynes of Pinehurst, NC and Gretchen Westman Braswell (John) of High Point, NC.
Louie graduated from University of North Carolina – Wilmington and worked for IBM and AT&T in IT Support.
He had numerous hobbies including his great love for sailing, joy of r/c cars, airplanes and boats anything outdoors and woodworking.
He was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle and friend and had a great love for children. Louie will be truly missed.
Louie was preceded in death by a nephew, Alan.
Those left to cherish his memory are his father and mother; his sister, Cheryl Hicks (the most loving caregiver that could ever be) and husband Ted of Statesville; brothers, Rob Haynes and Bo Haynes and wife Sara, all of Charlotte; nieces, Katie Barkman (Joel) and their son, Max, Meridith Burke (Ryan) and their children, Kylie, Delaniey and Bentley, and Bailey Hicks.
Louie also leaves behind his canine companions, Chloe and Jodee, .
His family will receive friends on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 11:00 AM in the Westmoreland Chapel of the funeral home. At Louie’s request, everyone is encouraged to dress casually.
