

Wilma Grace Elliotte Crider, 90, 167 Crider Road died Wednesday at Gordon Hospice House. She was born in Iredell County, April 29, 1922, daughter of the late Devid Parks Elliotte and Maggie Belle Estes Elliotte. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Hoke Crider, Sr.,who died August 22, 2011, son, Danny Crider, brother, Richard Elliotte, sisters Daisy Wilcox, Ruby Wilcox, Edna Furr, Frankie Hager, Montez Harris and infant sister Connie Elliotte.
She was a charter member of Yadkin Baptist Church and was most proud of her family and her church. Until recently she enjoyed quilting, gardening and riding in the mountains.
She is survived by children Hoke Crider, Jr., Sue (Melvin) Johnson, Joyce Miller and daughter-in-law Brenda Crider. Grandchildren; Chris (Robin) Crider, Rhonda (Tony) Cloer, Cheryl Baity, Randall (Vanessa) Crider, Bradley (Angela) Johnson, Derek (Lori Beth) Johnson, Rodney (Mandy) Crider, Misty (Phillip) Ostwalt, Matthew (Ashley) Miller, Jeremy Miller and fiance Crystal Elder, Andrea Crider. Great grandchildren surviving are Terri and Justin Crider, Abby, Abel and Avery Cloer, Taylor Baity, Dresden and Daegen Crider, Micheal and Andrew Johnson, Zachary Crider, Skylyn and Gage Ostwalt and Tanner Elder along with special friends Becky Crider and Judy Fink Taylor. Numerious nieces and nephews are also surviving.
Services celebrating her life are scheduled for Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Yadkin Baptist Church with Dr. J. B. Parker, Rev. Charles Cook and Rev. Tony Bunton. The body will lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial is to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the services.
