

Mr. Ralph Bell (Buck) Webster, 85, of 120 Hager View Lane, Statesville, died Saturday evening at the Gordon Hospice House. He was born May 30, 1927, in Iredell County, and was a son of the late Carl and Addie Brooks Webster. Buck was in the commercial cleaning business and was a member of Concord Presbyterian Church. He was a Past Master of Statesville Lodge # 27 A.F. & A.M. and of the Scottish Rite. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Margaret Sharpe Webster, a half brother, Brady Brooks and a sister, Nina Lytle.
Survivors include a daughter, Pam Bright; a grandson, Robert Bright; and a brother, Luther Webster, all of Statesville.
Services celebrating Buck's life will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Concord Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Kyle Goodman officiating. Masons will serve as Active and Honorary Pallbearers. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens with full Masonic Rites. The family will receive friends at the church fellowship hall for one hour prior to the service.
