Born on May 4, 1950 in Woodstock, IL, he was the son to the late Wayne and Joyce Owens. Robert was a loving and caring husband, father and "Pawpaw". He was a truck driver and loved to travel. He also loved NASCAR, war movies and old western movies.
He leaves behind a wife of 32 years, Lila Owens; children, Wayne Owens and Nicole Rochester; granddaughters, Autumn Rochester and Hope Pion; three brothers David, Rick and John Owens; sister, Sheryl Mora and numerous other loving family members.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 1pm at Fairview Baptist Chruch. The family will recieve friends after the service.
