Ronald Wayne Mills

He was born December 2, 1946, in Statesville, NC, and was the son of Marie Bumgarner Mills and the late Stamey Mills, Jr. He graduated from Troutman High School and attended Statesville Business College, Charlotte Business College, and Central Piedmont College. He served four years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Vega. He worked for many years as a sales counselor with several cemeteries in NC and FL and retired as a quality control manager with Frank Griffin Company of Orange Park, FL.

Ron is survived by his mother, Marie B. Mills of Troutman; a sister, Deborah Mills Ammon (Jeff) of Statesville; a brother, Roger Dale Mills (Kay) of Mill Springs, NC; two nieces, Shanda Ammon Cottrell of Statesville and Erica Mills Bowen of Mill Springs; and two nephews, Lynn Ammon of Statesville and Darren Mills of Mill Springs.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
