

Born February 15, 1931 in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel McMurray Morrow and Lillie Eller Morrow.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Harold “Pete” Morrow, John Kenneth Morrow, and Guy Morrow; one sister, Carmen Holler; her husband of 59 years, John Neal Wooten, who passed away on December 14, 2016 and her daughter, Rhonda Wooten Chadwell who passed away January 23, 2011.
Treva graduated from Celeste Henkel High School and retired from Davis Hospital, having worked in the insurance office. She was a faithful member of New Bethany Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and volunteered with Sharon Elementary School.
She loved gardening and her flowers. She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son-in-law, Dr. Brad Anthony Chadwell; nieces and nephews, Patricia (Jerry) Burns, Pamela (Paul) Messick, Joe (Gale) Morrow, Rick (Brenda) Morrow, Susan Alexander, Jeff (Tammy) Morrow and Kim (Kenny) Peschock, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Treva will lie-in-state Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM and Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM at New Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Mason officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband.
