Uncle Pap your going to be greatly missed! I’ve always saluted you in life and definitely going to honor you in your passing. Always a class act and sharply dressed! What I’m going to miss most will be your conversation and well wishes. Sleep in peace uncle Pap and thank you for everything. Love you William “Pap “ Brown!

Dear Family,
I would often see Pap at Walmart. It seems that every time we went to Walmart, Pap was there too. He was several grades ahead of me at Morningside so I never really got to know him until he came back to Statesville. He and his wife were wonderful supports of the annual Morningside Reunion. Pap was a nice person. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Pap will be sorely missed. He was a great man and he would light up a room with a kind smile and a friendly hello. I adopted him as my father and he took me under his wing and watched out for me and I for him. Love you Pap! Miss you so much. Betty please let me know if you need anything. Hugs and prayers to family. Love you all, Amy Grier
