Mr. William Eugene, (Gene) Snow, 89, of 568 East Memorial Highway, Harmony, died Saturday, January 15th, 2022, at Rosewood Assisted Living. He was born February 7th, 1932, in Iredell County and was the son of J. B. Snow and Willie Donaldson Snow.
He was a devoted husband, father, and a member of Clarksbury United Methodist Church. Gene received an Honorable Discharge from the Army in January of 1955 and on June 10th, 1955 he married Margelene (Margie) Holton, and was married for 55 years. Margie preceded him in death on December 9th, 2010.
Gene is survived by a daughter, Tanya McClain and husband, Ricky of Winston-Salem and a son, David Snow and wife, Debbie of Harmony. “Papaw” also enjoyed three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Services celebrating Gene’s life will be conducted at 12pm on Wednesday, January 19th, 2022 at Clarksbury United Methodist Church with Pastor Cliff Wall officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30am to 12pm in the fellowship hall of the church. A private family committal service will be held at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons.
