Eileen Madeline (O'Connor) Whistleman

Mrs. Whistleman was born on April 29, 1929 in Bermuda, and was a daughter of the late Eric and Mary (DeSilva) O’ Connor. Eileen was a former member of Wayside Baptist Church. She loved being outside and doing yard work. Mrs. Whistleman’s greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walker R. Whistleman.

Mrs. Whistleman is survived by her daughter, Joan Bradley and husband Parmer of Staunton; a sister, Shirley Hodson of Bermuda; a grandson, Troy Adler of Lawrenceville, GA; great-grandchildren, Ember, Brandon, Nathan; great-great-grandchildren Ridley, Luna, and Ivy Joan.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Whistleman was also preceded in death by her beloved companion, Henry Delano; and her sisters, Dorothy DeCoute and Rose Tidwell.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday January 5, 2023 at 2 PM at Oaklawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens with Pastor Billy Coffey officiating.
