Jeanne Lockridge Valz, 94, of Waynesboro, born June 19, 1918 passed away on November 19, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Alexander B. Valz, five brothers and three sisters. She is survived by one son, Alexander B. Valz Jr., his wife Suzanne, and one grandson, Brian A. Valz of Richmond, Virginia. She was a longtime member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Staunton, Virginia and was an avid gardener and bridge player. She was employed for many years at Mary Baldwin College in Staunton. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Monday November 26, 2012 at Thornrose Cemetery, 1041 W. Beverly St., Staunton, VA 24401.
