She is survived by one daughter, Anne Kern of Oklahoma, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Cobb received her PhD from Johns Hopkins University and served as Assistant Superintendent of Baltimore Public Schools.
In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated and there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Staunton Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory 18 W. Frederick St., Staunton, Va.
