

Born September 27, 1931 in Roanoke, he was the son of the late Mildred (Teel) and Wilmer Byron Woodrum, Sr.
Mr. Woodrum worked in research and development with Riegel, Rexam and Warner-Lambert. He will be remembered by most as an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Mary (Dobbie) Woodrum.
Survivors include his three loving sons, Wilmer Byron Woodrum, III and wife Carol of Richmond, VA, Dr. George Woodrum and wife Nadine of Staunton, VA, and Dr. R. Scot Woodrum and wife Kaity of Rougemont, NC; grandchildren, Sally and Christian Woodrum, Reed and Steven Woodrum, and Laura, Rebecca, Kyle and Nick Woodrum; sister, Julia Bondurant Freeman and husband William of SC; nephews, Will and Andrew Freeman.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Staunton Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 18 W. Frederick St., Staunton, VA.
