Loving mother of Thalia Kolodziej (Mike) and Aletha Zervos; Grandmother of Ashley Suljic (George), Mikki Litrento (Chris), Jacob Shaughnessy & Aaron Shaughnessy; Great Grandmother of Ben Suljic & Vince Suljic; daughter of the late Jetta Lavine & Alvin Dodson; sister of Melvin West (Marie), the late Darlene Beach, Betty Quickle, Glenna Romanazyk; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Gail was born in Missouri and grew up in Peoria, Illinois. She loved sunbathing at the beach and being outside gardening. Gail worked in accounting for 30 years at Waste Management. She was a devoted Christian and an active church member for many years of her life. In her later years, most people knew her as Nani. She loved spending time with family & friends and will be dearly missed by many.
A memorial service will be held at Mount Auburn Funeral Home on April 22, 2023 between 12pm to 4pm.
