Ed and I met 5 years ago when I audition to be a lead vocalist in the band Chi-Town Soul. At that time, Ed was not only the bass player for the band but he was also the co-founder. Ed was always positive, always encouraging, extremely talented, and always gave 100% of himself. He was trusting. He was family. He was my friend. He was our Brother. Ed would say to me... “I love this band! This is probably the last band I will ever play in.” He was right. When Ed had to leave Chi-Town Soul last year, due to his illness, I missed him. I missed him a lot. It was like my right arm had been taken away. I could still function, but I was never the same. 

Ed, I know you are up there groovin’ on that great bass in the sky. You are love and will be missed by me and all of the musicians of Chi-Town Soul. God Bless and Thank You for everything. You will not be forgotten my friend. 

I am very proud to have been a small part in Ed's life as I was part of his band Treazures back in the 80's.
Ed was always very composed, never saw him angry, always had a smile on his face. I look back on these days
and it brings a smile to my face. He will be missed by All.

My cousin Ed will always have a special place in my heart. The day he asked me to come out and listen to his band play changed my life forever. He introduced me to the most wonderful man in my life, the lead singer of his band Richard Mackie, of who I ended up marrying. Our 30 years together were amazing, and we were  blessed with (3) beautiful children, and it was because of Ed's love for me that my life was complete. I will miss your visits to Las Vegas, your beautiful smile and laughter, our phone calls, and the love we shared as cousins, Rest in peace cuz, I know your soul is in heaven!!!

I met Eddie about 10 years ago when we both joined a band. We connected very soon and although that band did not last that long we remained great friends. He was always checking in  to find out how I was personally and in my music pursuits. We would see each other often at gigs, jams, the range  and checking out other groups. My name for Ed was "the Legend" because he was truly a great bass player and his many years in the music  scene. He was a pro  and could play with any group and style. He had total respect from other musicians. Now that I am reflecting on the loss of my dear friend I am now realizing that his dear unsurpassed friendship towards me and the love he had for his many friends also fits that description of  the Legend and he  will remain  that way to me.
Here is to a Great guy our Eddie.No better musician,no better friend.

I have so many fond memories of Ed. He was a great, talented, fun guy.  I loved him.
