Francisco was born October 25, 1932 in San Sebastián, Puerto Rico. He was the oldest of eleven children. Francisco spent the majority of his adult life in Chicago where he started from scratch, married the love of his life Concha in 1958, and raised their wonderful son Francisco “Paco” Ramirez.
Ico was known for his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. His vibrant and inviting personality lived through his infamous family parties. He took pride in challenging anyone to a game of dominoes and always had a passion for learning. Francisco enjoyed tending to his home and his beautiful backyard garden. There was nothing he loved more than his amazing grandchildren: Anthony, Alex, Lesha, Pedro, Frankie, Leah, Aden, and baby Frankie. Throughout his life he worked tirelessly to provide for his family and we are blessed to have learned many valuable lessons from his stories.
We invite you to honor his life and legacy as we celebrate all of our irreplaceable memories he has left us with. Thank you.
