Guillermo is survived by son Ruben Rogelio Sanchez (Frances); daughter Lydia Angelina Frank; son Benito Martinez (Mary Jane); son Daniel Sanchez (Diana); and sister Maria Garcia. He was a loving grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Guillermo was preceded in death by his wife Alicia Sanchez and son Louie Martinez (Evelyn).
Guillermo was a proud Born again Christian and was a man of strong faith. He was also very skilled with electronics and earned a certificate from Coyne College in the field. Guillermo will also be remember for his love of music, especially the guitar.
A wake for Guillermo will take place at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 S. Oak Park Ave. Stickney, IL 60402, on Tuesday, June 8th from 4-8pm. A funeral service will take place the next day at Mount Auburn, Wednesday, June 9th beginning at 10am. A graveside service will follow at Mount Auburn Memorial Park.
