Jesus Acevedo Valadez

Jesus was born in Mexico on November 13, 1931. He was a hard working man with a great sense of humor and a heart of gold. Through his hard work and determination he succeeded in bringing his family to the United States. He set the foundation of family values. He was a true family man whose entire life revolved around his family. He was strong and always led by example. He left his family with wisdom and memories that will last a lifetime. Jesus may be gone but not forgotten. He will be remembered as Chuy, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his beloved 8 children, many cherished grandchildren, great grandchildren, and countless other treasured family and friends who he adored.

A visitation for Jesus will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 2127 W 22nd Pl, Chicago, IL 60608. A graveside service will follow at Mount Auburn Cemetery, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402.
