Jose Jesus Salazar, age 94, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 surrounded by his family. Jose was born February 6, 1926 in Guanajuato, Mexico. On May 26, 1946 Jose exchanged wedding vows with Catalina (nee Morales) at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church.
Their marriage was blessed with thirteen children, four passed away and nine remained., seven daughters: Juana, Maria, Guadalupe, Natalia, Carmen, Elena and Lidia and two sons: Jose and Jesus Jr. Beloved Grandfather of Juan, Lili, Efrain, Victor, Lupita, Rosalba, Lety, Yesenia, Ruben, Veronica, Alex, Lisa, Nancy, Cristal, Hilarion Jr; Valeria, Vanessa, Enrique Jr; Efrain, Rodolfo, Daisy, Carolina, Joey, Jesus, Maribel, Tono Jr; Otilio, Victor, Mayra, Antonio Jr; Gabriel, Giovanni, Yuli, Giselle and Jesse. Cherished Great-Grandfather of Joel, King, Amor, Angel, Kenya, Ricky, Mila, Thalia, Evan, Tiny, Hugo and Brian.
Preceded in death by his loving wife, Catalina who passed away on November 19, 2008.
