

Leon Tarpinian, born October 16, 1960, passed away on February 24, 2025. A man of many talents and an adventurous spirit, Leon embraced life with passion, kindness, and an infectious enthusiasm that touched everyone who knew him.
An avid skier, ice skater and skateboarder, Leon had an undeniable love for movement and the outdoors. His adventurous soul was matched by his deep love for animals and the cherished bonds he shared with his nephew, Frankie and his nieces, Samantha and Stephanie. He adored his friends and their children, always making time to be part of their lives.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Parse and Julia Tarpinian. Leon was a devoted brother to Susan (Michael) Hillin and Stacy (Karl) Schlehofer. Cherished nephew to Marge Kazarian, Mike Kazarian and Nazareth Tarpinian along with many loving cousins.He spent 30+ years working alongside his father in their family business (Parse's), demonstrating loyalty and dedication. In his later years, he found a new home at NuEra Cannabis, where he not only formed a second family, often saying it was his favorite job ever.
Music was at the heart of Leon's life. A drummer at his core, he loved playing in bands and later took up the guitar, finding joy in every note he played. Though he dabbled in painting, it was music that truly moved him, and he found immense happiness in sharing his passion with others.
Leon had an incredible ability to make friends wherever he went. His warmth, humor and generous spirit will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, laughter, and music will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Leon's kindness, energy, and passion for life will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace.
