Maria Plascencia

Maria Plascencia, passed away on December 20, 2025 surrounded lovingly by her family. Maria was born on August 21, 1939 in Capilla De Milpillas, Jalisco, Mexico to her parents Maria Petra and Lucio Anaya Lozano.

She lived a life marked by faith, devotion to family and kindness.

Loving wife of Jesus Plascencia. Beloved mother of Francisco, Alfredo, Miguel (Thania), Martha, Marissa (Lewis), Gloria, Jesus Jr. (Rosio) and the late Martha and Juan Jose. Cherished grandmother of Juan, Veronica, Priscilla, Graciela, Crystal, Ashley, Celeste, Xavier, Avina, Gabriela, Alana, Miguel Jr., Yulissa, Joshua, Maico, Sophia, Santiago, Marleyna, Ignacio Jr., Jacob, Madelyn, Franco, Diana, Ailani and Uriel and great-grandmother of many.

A visitation will be held at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, located at 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402, on December 26, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Funeral service on Saturday, December 27, 2025. Family and Friends can meet at Mount Auburn Funeral Home at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2745 W. 44th Street, Chicago, IL 60632. Services will conclude immediately following the mass.

Burial will be private.
